Katina is the oldest orca at Seaworld Florida. She has had 4 successful births including: Kalina, Katerina, Taku, and Unna. All of who are living with the exception of Katerina. Katina is easy to identify with her dorsal, which is completely flopped over to her left side. She also has one black spot on her chin. After she was captured, she was sent to Marineland Canada, where she spent 8 months. She spent her winters and summers in Seaworld Ohio with Kasatka, a female at Seaworld California, until 1984, when she became a permenate resident of Seaworld Florida.
